How our journey started 11 years ago
I have always loved being around children. Over eleven years ago, an opportunity arose to care for a friend's daughter so she could return to work, and I jumped at the chance. That initial spark inspired me to complete comprehensive childminder training, earn professional qualifications, and build an environment where little ones flourish. Today, we operate from a lovely nursery setting right in Pimlico, caring for children aged six months and above with dedicated staff and a flourishing community.

Our devotion to children and their families was recently recognised on a national stage. We were nominated for Childminding Business of the Year at the prestigious Nursery World Awards. Competing against settings across the entire United Kingdom, we achieved second place and earned the Highly Commended Award. It is an enormous honour that reflects the tireless care, love, and professional standards my team and I bring to each and every day.

Every week at Tora Tora's Tiney House brings new adventures. We introduce vibrant themed weeks tailored to the seasons and cultural celebrations, planning purposeful activities that foster developmental milestones. By blending structured themes with spontaneous, child-led play, we encourage young minds to explore their world, make friends, and build confidence in a cosy, nurturing space.
