At Tora Tora's Tiney House, we embrace the early years foundation stage (EYFS) framework to underpin every day of learning and play. This statutory framework ensures high-quality support across seven key areas of development, focusing closely on communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development from 6 months onwards.
We observe, guide, and nurture each child at their own natural pace, turning daily activities—from mud kitchen adventures to music and storytelling—into rich learning experiences. By partnering closely with families, we track developmental milestones gently, ensuring your little one feels safe, valued, and fully prepared for their future school journey.
Cosy corners and creative indoor play
Our indoors is thoughtfully designed for both calm downtime and active curiosity. Little ones can snuggle up on comfy sofas in our cosy reading corner, cook up imaginary feasts in the busy play kitchen, or make sweet melodies with our musical instruments. From puzzles for clever minds to small-world setups and dedicated messy craft tables, every area helps foster early fine motor, reading, and number skills.
Our magical outdoor adventure garden
We are exceptionally lucky to offer our own private outdoor space in central London. Children love digging into our sand pits, exploring sensory mud kitchens, and discovering wonders in our fairy garden. We even tend our own vegetable patch together, giving children hands-on experience with nature and helping them build confidence and physical coordination in the fresh air.
A calm, open, and welcoming home
Parents visiting our home often remark on how open, peaceful, and warm the environment feels. With attentive one-to-one care, even our youngest babies from 6 months feel secure, cherished, and ready to explore. Every child is celebrated as unique, given the space, love, and encouragement to shine bright and reach their developmental milestones.
Weekly dance and storytelling adventures
We are so lucky to welcome an amazing dance teacher to our setting each week. Through imaginative storytelling, our children bring fairy tales and adventures to life, learning to point their toes, jump like ballerinas, and move like mini pro dancers. It is a joyful, expressive session that builds gross motor skills, rhythm, and confidence.
